     Elizabeth Dunbar was the daughter of Alexander Dunbar of Westfield and Margaret Calder.1 She married Sir William Dunbar of Hempriggs, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dunbar, on 6 January 1729.1 She died on 3 June 1746, without male issue.1

     Jean Sinclair was the daughter of David Sinclair of Southdun.1 She married Sir William Dunbar of Hempriggs, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dunbar, on 21 March 1747.1 She died on 9 August 1749, without issue.2
     From 21 March 1747, her married name became Dunbar.1

     Henrietta Rose was the daughter of Hugh Rose, 16th of Kilravock and Jane Rose.1 She married Sir William Dunbar of Hempriggs, 2nd Bt., son of Sir James Dunbar of Hempriggs, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Dunbar, on 21 October 1749.1 She died in September 1795.2
     From 21 October 1749, her married name became Dunbar.1

     Hugh Rose, 16th of Kilravock was the son of Hugh Rose, 15th of Kilravock and Margaret Campbell.2 He married, secondly, Jane Rose, daughter of Hugh Rose, 10th of Broadley.3 He married by contract, firstly, Elizabeth Grant, daughter of Ludovic Grant, 8th of Freuchie and 1st of Grant and Janet Brodie, on 15 January 1704.2 He died in May 1755.2
     He lived at Kilravock, Nairnshire, ScotlandG.2 He purchased Coulmony.2 He held the office of Sheriff of Ross between 1729 and 1734.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) between 1735 and 1741.2 On 14 April 1746 his son was host to Bonnie Prince Charlie.2 On 15 April 1746 he was host to Duke of Cumberland, on the eve of the Battle of Culloden.2
