     Lady Anne Cowper was the daughter of William Cowper, 1st Earl Cowper and Mary Clavering.1 She married James Edward Colleton, son of John Colleton and Elizabeth Ernle, in 1731.1 She died on 26 March 1750.1
     From 1731, her married name became Colleton.1

     James Edward Colleton was born circa 1709.2 He was the son of John Colleton and Elizabeth Ernle.2 He married Lady Anne Cowper, daughter of William Cowper, 1st Earl Cowper and Mary Clavering, in 1731.1 He married Frances Jennings, daughter of Philip Jennings, on 30 March 1754.2 He died on 30 August 1790.2
     He lived at Haynes Hill, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Lostwithiel between 1747 and 1768.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for St. Mawes between 1772 and 1774.2

     Catherine March Phillipps was the daughter of Thomas March Phillipps and Susan Lisle.1,2 She married, firstly, Hon. Edward Spencer Cowper, son of George Nassau Clavering-Cowper, 3rd Earl Cowper and Hannah Anne Gore, on 23 May 1808.1,2 She married, secondly, Reverend G. A. Hamilton on 29 January 1827.2 She died in 1830, without issue.2
     From 23 May 1808, her married name became Cowper.1 From 29 January 1827, her married name became Hamilton.2

     After her marriage, Lady Katrine Cecilia Compton was styled as Countess Cowper on 25 October 1870. From 25 October 1870, her married name became Cowper.1
