     Sir William Clerke, 3rd Bt. was born before 1662.2 He was the son of Sir William Clerke, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Muschamp.3 He married Catherine Onslow, daughter of Sir Arthur Onslow, 1st Bt. and Mary Foote, on 11 July 1683 at Allhallows, Barking, EnglandG.2 He died between 14 July 1699 and 1 December 1699.1 He was buried at North Weston, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.4 His will was proven (by probate) on 1 December 1699.4
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Clerke, of Hitcham, co. Buckingham [E., 1660] on 6 September 1678.1 His last will was dated 14 July 1699.

Sir Arthur Onslow, 1st Bt.1

     Sir Arthur Onslow, 1st Bt. was baptised on 22 May 1624.2 He was the son of Sir Richard Onslow and Elizabeth Strangeways.2 He married, secondly, Mary Foote, daughter of Sir Thomas Foote, 1st Bt. and Elizabeth Mott.3 He married, firstly, Rose Stoughton, daughter of Nicolas Stoughton.2 He died on 21 July 1688 at age 64.2
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bamber in 1640.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bamber from January 1640/41 to 1648.2 He was educated at Queen's College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, England.2 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey from 1654 to 1655.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey between 1656 and 1658.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey in 1659.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford in 1660.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Guildford between 1661 and 1679.2 He was created 1st Baronet Onslow [England] on 8 May 1674, with precedence of 1660, his father-in-law's baronetcy.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Surrey between 1679 and 1681.2

     Catherine Onslow was born circa 1663.2 She was the daughter of Sir Arthur Onslow, 1st Bt. and Mary Foote.3,2 She married Sir William Clerke, 3rd Bt., son of Sir William Clerke, 2nd Bt. and Elizabeth Muschamp, on 11 July 1683 at Allhallows, Barking, EnglandG.2 She died on 14 March 1741.1
     From 11 July 1683, her married name became Clerke.

     Sir John Clerke, 4th Bt. was born circa 1696.2 He was the son of Sir William Clerke, 3rd Bt. and Catherine Onslow.3 He died on 27 February 1726/27, without issue.1 He was buried on 28 February 1726/27 at Hanwell Church, Hanwell, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.4
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Clerke, of Hitcham, co. Buckingham [E., 1660] in 1699.1
