     Jane Mallabar was baptised on 7 February 1668/69 at St. Nicholas' Church, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 She was the daughter of Robert Mallabar and Alice Swinborne.1 She married Sir John Clavering, 3rd Bt., son of John Clavering and Dorothy Savile, on 17 December 1702 at St. Nicholas' Church, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1 She died on 22 February 1734/35 at age 66.1 She was buried at St. Nicholas' Church, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, EnglandG.1
     From 17 December 1702, her married name became Clavering.1 Her last will was dated 11 December 1734.1

     Sir Francis Clavering, 5th Bt. was baptised on 9 September 1673 at Ryton, EnglandG.1 He was the son of John Clavering and Dorothy Savile.1 He married Susan Sells.1 He died on 31 December 1738 at age 65, without issue.1 He was buried on 16 January 1738/39.1 His will (dated 23 May 1734) was proven (by probate) in 1739.1
     He succeeded as the 5th Baronet Clavering, of Axwell, co. Durham [E., 1661] on 18 May 1726.1
