     Colonel Philip Herbert Catt is the son of George Herbert Catt.3 He married Winifred Ianthe Clayton, daughter of John William Clayton and Catherine Mary Gibson, on 21 October 1943.1
     He gained the rank of Colonel in the Scots Guards.1 He was appointed Fellow, Royal Geographical Society (F.R.G.S.)1 He was appointed Knight of Justice, Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem (K.J.St.J.)1

     Sir John Clarke, 2nd Bt. was born in 1605.2 He was the son of Sir Simon Clarke, 1st Bt. and Margaret Alderford.1 He married Anne Williams, daughter of John Williams.1 He died before 1679, without issue.1
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Clarke, of Salford, co. Warwick [E., 1617] circa 1642.1
