     2nd Lt. Eustace George St. Clair Chance was born on 11 March 1899.1 He was the son of George Ferguson Chance and Mary Kathleen Stobart.2 He died on 27 September 1918 at age 19, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of 2nd Lieutenant in the Coldstream Guards.1 He fought in the First World War.2

     He was educated at Rugby School, Rugby, Warwickshire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Balliol College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister-at-Law.2 He was a practising barrister.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of County Antrim.2 He held the office of High Sheriff of County Antrim in 1909.2 He lived at Castle Dobbs, County Antrim, IrelandG.1
