Lady Mary Kennedy was born on 4 May 1799.2 She was the daughter of Archibald Kennedy, 1st Marquess of Ailsa and Margaret Erskine.1 She married Richard Oswald, younger of Auchincruive, son of Richard Alexander Oswald and Louisa Johnston, on 10 December 1833.1 She died on 11 January 1886 at age 86.2
