     Thomas Vesey Nugent was born in 1807.² He was the son of Lt.-Col. Andrew Nugent and Hon. Selina Vesey.² He married Frances Helen Stronge, daughter of Sir James Mathew Stronge, 2nd Bt. and Isabella Calvert, in 1835.² He died on 3 February 1890.²
