     Alice Louisa Monck was born on 29 June 1841.2 She was the daughter of Charles Atticus Monck and Laura Ridley.1,3 She married Sir John William Powlett Campbell-Orde, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Powlett Orde, 2nd Bt. and Eliza Woollery Campbell, on 17 July 1862 at St. Michael's Church, Chester Square, London, EnglandG.1,3 She died on 7 January 1883 at age 41 at Kilmory House, Argyllshire, ScotlandG.3
     From 17 July 1862, her married name became Orde. From 16 January 1880, her married name became Campbell-Orde.

     Sir Arthur John Campbell-Orde, 4th Bt. was born on 13 April 1865.1 He was the son of Sir John William Powlett Campbell-Orde, 3rd Bt. and Alice Louisa Monck.2 He married Maie Ronald Stewart, daughter of Captain John Campbell Stewart, on 6 January 1892.1 He died on 1 February 1933 at age 67.2
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 3rd Battalion, Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Orde, of Morpeth, co. Northumberland [G.B., 1790] on 12 October 1897.1 He fought in the Boer War.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in 1900 in the Lovat Scouts.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Argyllshire.1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the 8th Battalion, Cameron Highlanders.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Inverness-shire.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Major in the Lovat Scouts Yeomanry.1

     From 18 November 1896, her married name became Campbell-Orde.1
