     Henry William Cadogan was born on 25 March 1761.1 He was the son of Charles Sloane Cadogan, 1st Earl Cadogan and Hon. Frances Bromley.2 He died on 4 August 1774 at age 13.1

     Lt.-Col. Hon. Henry Cadogan was born on 26 February 1780.1 He was the son of Charles Sloane Cadogan, 1st Earl Cadogan and Mary Churchill.2 He died on 21 June 1813 at age 33, killed in action.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 71st Regiment.1 He fought in the Battle of Vitoria on 21 June 1813.1 He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.3
