Richard Charles Keightley, son of General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley and Joan Lydia Smyth-Osbourne, on 21 October 1958.¹

     General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley was born on 24 June 1901 at Anerley, Croydon, London, England.³ He was the son of Reverend Charles Albert Keightley and Kathleen Frances Ross.³ He was baptised on 9 September 1901 at Holy Trinity, Penage, Surrey, England.³ He married Joan Lydia Smyth-Osbourne, daughter of Brig.-Gen. George Nowell Thomas Smyth-Osbourne and Gladys Marguerite Porter, in 1932.³ He died on 17 June 1974 at age 72 at Salisbury General Infirmary, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.³
