     Caroline Rosemary Butler was born on 20 January 1939.1 She is the daughter of Sir Thomas Pierce Butler, 12th Bt. and Rosemary Liège Woodgate Davidson-Houston.2 She married Maj.-Gen. Richard Charles Keightley, son of General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley and Joan Lydia Smyth-Osbourne, on 21 October 1958.1
     From 21 October 1958, her married name became Keightley. She lived in 2003 at Kennels Cottage, Tarrant Gunville, Blandford, Dorset, EnglandG.1

     General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley was born on 24 June 1901 at Anerley, Croydon, London, England.3 He was the son of Reverend Charles Albert Keightley and Kathleen Frances Ross.3 He was baptised on 9 September 1901 at Holy Trinity, Penage, Surrey, England.3 He married Joan Lydia Smyth-Osbourne, daughter of Brig.-Gen. George Nowell Thomas Smyth-Osbourne and Gladys Marguerite Porter, in 1932.3 He died on 17 June 1974 at age 72 at Salisbury General Infirmary, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England.3
     He fought in the Second World War.3 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1941.3 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.) in 1943.3 He was awarded the Distinguished Service Order (D.S.O.) in 1944.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the British Empire (K.B.E.) in 1945.3 He was appointed Knight Commander, Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) in 1950.3 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the Bath (G.C.B.) in 1953.1 He was appointed Knight Grand Cross, Order of the British Empire (G.B.E.) in 1957.1

     Maj.-Gen. Richard Charles Keightley is the son of General Sir Charles Frederick Keightley and Joan Lydia Smyth-Osbourne.2,3 He married Caroline Rosemary Butler, daughter of Sir Thomas Pierce Butler, 12th Bt. and Rosemary Liège Woodgate Davidson-Houston, on 21 October 1958.1
     He gained the rank of Major-General in the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards.1 He was appointed Companion, Order of the Bath (C.B.)1

     Charlotte Joan Keightley was born on 24 March 1961.1 She is the daughter of Maj.-Gen. Richard Charles Keightley and Caroline Rosemary Butler.2 She married Howard Stephen Buchanan Jenkinson, son of Barry Jenkinson and Joy F. Joelson, in 1985.1
     From 1985, her married name became Jenkinson. She lived in 2003 at The Rectory, Willey, Shropshire, EnglandG.1
