     He was registered as a Member, Royal College of Surgeons (M.R.C.S.)1 He was registered as a Licentiate, Royal College of Physicians, London (L.R.C.P.)1 He was with the West African Medical Staff, DMSS at Sierra LeoneG.1 He was appointed Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) in 1929.1

     Dorothy Anne Going was the daughter of Reverend Claude Arthur Hedley Going.1 She married, firstly, Major John Crichton Stuart McDouall, son of John Crichton Stuart McDouall and Marguerite Lavinia Garrett, on 20 January 1945.1 She married, secondly, Major John Hewgill Anderson Bryden, son of Colonel Ronald Anderson Bryden, on 2 February 1954.1 She died on 1 February 2016.2
     From 20 January 1945, her married name became McDouall. From 2 February 1954, her married name became Bryden.1 She lived in 2003 at 61 Swanston Avenue, Edinburgh, Midlothian, ScotlandG.1
