     David Baillie of Dunain and Shuglie was the son of Alexander Baillie of Dunain.1 He married Margaret Rose, daughter of Hugh Rose, 10th of Kilravock.1 He died in 1558.1
     He held the office of Constable of Inverness Castle in 1548.1 He lived at Glen-Urquhart, ScotlandG.1

     Hugh Rose, 10th of Kilravock was born circa 1509 at Earlsmiln, Scotland.2 He was the son of Hugh Rose, 9th of Kilravock and Agnes Urquhart.3,4 A contract for the marriage of Hugh Rose, 10th of Kilravock and Katherine Falconer was signed on 31 January 1523.4 He died on 10 June 1597.3
     On 30 December 1544 he was infeft in the Barony.4 He held the office of Sheriff-Principal of Inverness in 1565.4

     From 10 January 1577, her married name became Baillie.1
