     Lt.-Col. Sir Theobald Hubert Burke, 13th Bt. was born on 25 March 1833.1 He was the son of William Burke and Fanny Xavier Tucker.1
     He gained the rank of officer in the 13th Regiment.1 He fought in the Crimean War.1 He fought in the Indian Mutiny.1 He retired from the military, with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel.1 He succeeded as the 13th Baronet Bourke, of Glinsk, co. Galway [I., 1628] on 21 July 1884.1

     He held the office of Under-Secretary of State for Ireland.1

     After her marriage, Eleanor Bryan was styled as Viscountess Ikerrin. Her married name became Butler.2
