     Emily Sleap was the daughter of Thomas Sleap.¹ She married Sir David Burnett, 1st Bt., son of David Burnett, on 28 August 1875.¹ She died on 19 May 1917.¹
     From 28 August 1875, her married name became Burnett.

     Lt.-Col. Sir Leslie Trew Burnett, 2nd Bt. was born on 22 September 1884.¹ He was the son of Sir David Burnett, 1st Bt. and Emily Sleap.² He married Joan Humphrey, daughter of Lt.-Col. Sir John Humphrey, on 21 April 1917.¹ He died on 17 July 1955 at age 70.¹
     He fought in the First World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.¹ He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the 4th Battalion, Royal Fusiliers.¹ He held the office of Lieutenant of the City of London.¹ He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Burnett, of Selborne House, in the Borough of Croydon [U.K., 1913] on 7 July 1930.¹ He was Honorary Colonel of the Royal Fusiliers between 1936 and 1951.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.) in 1944.¹ He was awarded the Territorial Decoration (T.D.)¹ He was a director of The Proprietors of Hays Wharf Ltd.¹ He was a director of Denny, Mott and Dickson Ltd.¹ He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Surrey.¹

     Alexander Burnet of Leys is the son of John Burnet.¹ He married Elizabeth Forbes, daughter of Alexander Forbes of Echt.¹

     Elizabeth Forbes is the daughter of Alexander Forbes of Echt.¹ She married, secondly, Alexander Burnet of Leys, son of John Burnet.¹ She married, firstly, Alexander Riach.¹
     Her married name became Riach.¹ Her married name became Burnet.¹

     Gertrude Alice Burnett was the daughter of Sir David Burnett, 1st Bt. and Emily Sleap.¹ She died on 17 December 1943, unmarried.¹

     Maude Agnes Burnett was the daughter of Sir David Burnett, 1st Bt. and Emily Sleap.¹ She married Emil Stanley Franklin, son of Alfred Walter Franklin, on 6 June 1907.¹ She died on 19 November 1966.¹
     From 6 June 1907, her married name became Franklin.

     Emil Stanley Franklin is the son of Alfred Walter Franklin.¹ He married Maude Agnes Burnett, daughter of Sir David Burnett, 1st Bt. and Emily Sleap, on 6 June 1907.¹
