     Sarah Holmes Hodgkinson is the daughter of Captain unknown Hodgkinson.1 She married William Jones Burdett, son of Francis Burdett and Eleanor Jones, after 1807.1
     In 1807 her name was legally changed to Sarah Holmes Brent.1 From after 1807, her married name became Burdett.1

     Lt.-Col. Sir Francis Burdett, 7th Bt. was born on 23 March 1813.1 He was the son of William Jones Burdett and Sarah Holmes Hodgkinson.1 He married, firstly, Amelia Eliza Sharp, daughter of Major James Sharp, on 22 October 1842.1 He married, secondly, Mary Dorothy Smyth, daughter of John Smyth, on 22 August 1867.1 He died on 31 May 1892 at age 79 at 6 Chesham Place, London, EnglandG.1 He was buried at Foremark, Repton, Derbyshire, EnglandG.1 His will was proven (by probate), at £80,613 gross and £69,304 net.1
     He was educated at Charterhouse School, Godalming, Surrey, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG.1 He was commissioned in 1834, in the service of the Army.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in 1840 in the 17th Lancers.1 He held the office of Sheriff of Surrey in 1880.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Burdett, of Bramcott, co. Warwick [E., 1619] on 7 June 1880.1

     Amelia Eliza Sharp was the daughter of Major James Sharp.1 She married Lt.-Col. Sir Francis Burdett, 7th Bt., son of William Jones Burdett and Sarah Holmes Hodgkinson, on 22 October 1842.1 She died on 14 April 1866, without issue.1
     From 22 October 1842, her married name became Burdett.1

     From 22 August 1867, her married name became Burdett.1

     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Marines.1 He fought in the Siege of Carthagena in 1741.1
