     Captain Sir Peter Parker, 2nd Bt. was born on 18 April 1786.3 He was the son of Vice-Admiral Christopher Parker and Augusta Barbara Charlotte Byron.4 He was baptised on 22 May 1786.3 He married Marianne Dallas, daughter of Sir George Dallas, 1st Bt., in 1809.1,4 He died on 3 August 1814 at age 28 at Baltimore, Maryland, U.S.A., killed in action.1,3
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Wexford from 1810 to 1811.5 He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He succeeded as the 2nd Baronet Parker [G.B., 1783] on 21 December 1811. He has an extensive biographical entry in the Dictionary of National Biography.4

     Sir Peter Colpoys Paley Johnson, 7th Bt. was born on 26 March 1930.1 He was the son of Lt.-Col. Sir John Paley Johnson, 6th Bt. and Carol Louise Glorney Haas.1 He married, firstly, Clare Bruce, daughter of Nigel Patrick Bruce and Audrey Patricia Villiers Clarendon, on 7 August 1956.2 He and Clare Bruce were divorced in 1972.2 He married, secondly, Caroline Elisabeth Hodsoll, daughter of W/Cdr. Sir Eric John Hodsoll, in 1973.1 He died on 24 May 2003 at age 73.3
     He was educated at Wellington College, Crowthorne, Berkshire, England.3 He retired from the military in 1949, with the rank of Captain, late of the Royal Artillery.3 He was educated at Royal Military College of Science, Shrivenham, Wiltshire, EnglandG.3 From 7 August 1956, his married name became Bruce. He wrote the book Ocean Racing and Offshore Yachts, published 1970.3 He wrote the book Boating Britain, published 1973.1 He succeeded as the 7th Baronet Johnson, of New York, in North America [G.B., 1755] on 14 December 1975.3 He wrote the book Guiness Guide to Sailing, published 1981.3 He wrote the book The Encyclopedia of Yachting, published 1989.3 He wrote the book Yacht Clubs of the World, published 1994.3 He wrote the book Yacht Rating, published 1997.3 He wrote the book World Sailing Records, published 2002.3 He wrote the book Reed's Maritime Flags, published 2002.3 He lived in 2003 at Dene End, Buckland Dene, Lymington, Hants SO41 9DTG.3
