     Air Vice Marshal Augustus Henry Orlebar was born in 1896 at Hinwick, Bedfordshire, England.¹ He was the son of Augustus Scobell Orlebar and Hester Mary Knowles.² He married Blanche Alice Victoria Cooper, daughter of William Douglas Cooper and Rachel Mabel Blanche Cross, on 21 August 1923 at St. Martin in the Fields, London, England.³ He died on 4 August 1943 at Westminster, London, England.¹
     He was Deputy Chief of Combined Operations.¹ He gained the rank of Air Vice Marshal in the Royal Air Force.¹
