     Elizabeth Shirley, Baroness Ferrers (of Chartley) was born on 19 August 1694.3 She was the daughter of Hon. Robert Shirley and Anne Ferrers.4 She married James Compton, 5th Earl of Northampton, son of George Compton, 4th Earl of Northampton and Jane Fox, on 7 March 1715/16.5 She died on 13 March 1740/41 at age 46.6
     She succeeded as the 9th Baroness Ferrers, of Chartley [E., 1299].5 Her married name became Compton. After her marriage, Elizabeth Shirley, Baroness Ferrers (of Chartley) was styled as Countess of Northampton on 15 April 1727.

     Sir Thomas Fowell Victor Buxton, 4th Bt. was born on 8 April 1865.1 He was the son of Sir Thomas Fowell Buxton, 3rd Bt. and Lady Victoria Noel.2 He married Anne Louisa Matilda O'Rorke, daughter of Reverend Henry Thomas O'Rorke, on 10 October 1888.1 He died on 31 May 1919 at age 54.1
     Sir Thomas Fowell Victor Buxton, 4th Bt. usually went by his middle name of Victor. He graduated from Trinity College, Cambridge University, Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, EnglandG, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the 2nd Battalion, Essex Volunteer Regiment.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Essex.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Essex in 1905.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Buxton, of Belfield, co. Dorset and Runton, co. Norfolk [U.K., 1840] on 28 October 1915.1

     Mechtild Corisande Renira Mary Gräfin Bentinck was born on 20 December 1877.1 She was the daughter of William Charles Philip Otho Aldenburg-Bentinck, 6th Graf Bentinck and Mary Cornelia Baronin de Heeckeren.1 She married Casimir Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen, son of Wolfgang Fürst zu Castell-Rüdenhausen and Emma Prinzessin zu Ysenburg und Büdingen in Büdingen, on 1 September 1905.1 She died on 13 December 1940 at age 62.1

     Commander James Gordon Arbuthnott was born on 10 March 1894.1 He was the son of Donald Stuart Arbuthnott and Anne Elizabeth Brand.1 He married Margaret Georgina Hyde, daughter of John Wolley Hyde, on 21 April 1931.1 He died on 2 May 1985 at age 91 at Hastings, Sussex, England.2
     He was educated at Stonyhurst College, Blackburn, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He fought in the First World War.1 He gained the rank of Commander in the Royal Navy.1 He fought in the Second World War.1

     Charles Renaud Adelbert Bentinck was born on 9 February 1853.1 He was the son of Lt.-Gen. Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont.1 He married Helena Agnes Alexandrina Amelia Caroline Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, daughter of Adalbert Graf zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 28 September 1878.1 He and Helena Agnes Alexandrina Amelia Caroline Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont were divorced in 1885.1 He died on 19 October 1934 at age 81.1
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Prussian Army.1 He was appointed Knight Commander, Teutonic Order.1

Charles Anthony Ferdinand Bentinck, 4th Graf Bentinck and Caroline Mechtild Emma Charlotte Christine Luise Gräfin zu Waldeck und Pyrmont, on 28 September 1878.1 She and Charles Renaud Adelbert Bentinck were divorced in 1885.1 She died on 5 March 1942 at Berlin, GermanyG.1
