     He was educated at Winchester College, Winchester, Hampshire, EnglandG.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the 16th Lancers.1 He fought in the First World War in 1914.1 He was awarded the Croix de Guerre.1

     Her married name became Stewart.1 From 1942, her married name became Brooke.1

     Emily Henrietta Brooke was the daughter of Sir George Frederick Brooke, 1st Bt. and Emily Alma Barton.1 She married Henry Seymour Persse, son of Henry Sadleir Persse and Eleanor Alice Seymour, on 18 June 1921.1 She died on 2 August 1953.1
     From 18 June 1921, her married name became Persse.1

     Henry Seymour Persse was born on 17 June 1869.2 He was the son of Henry Sadleir Persse and Eleanor Alice Seymour.1,3 He married Emily Henrietta Brooke, daughter of Sir George Frederick Brooke, 1st Bt. and Emily Alma Barton, on 18 June 1921.1 He died on 5 September 1960 at age 91.1
     He was educated at Cheltenham College, Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, EnglandG.2 He graduated from Brasenose College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He was a racehorse trainer.2 He was Master of Foxhounds, County Limerick between 1928 and 1932.2

     Henry Sadleir Persse was born on 17 November 1832.2 He was the son of Burton de Burgh Persse and Matilda Persse.3 He married Eleanor Alice Seymour, daughter of Colonel Thomas Seymour, on 13 June 1862.2 He died on 8 March 1899 at age 66.2 He was buried at New Cemetery, Bohermore, County Galway, Ireland.4
     He graduated from Trinity College, Dublin University, Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland, with a Master of Arts (M.A.)2 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)2 He held the office of High Sheriff of Galway Town in 1868.2 He lived at Glenarde, County Galway, IrelandG.3 He lived at Kiltullagh, County Galway, Ireland.2
