     William Evan Windham was born on 1 May 1904.1 He was the son of Sir William Windham and Blanche Marie Titren.1 He married, firstly, Constance Loudon, daughter of James Hope Loudon and Louise Wilhelmina Fuchter, on 1 March 1932.1 He married, secondly, Dorothy Muir Johnston, daughter of Robert Deans Johnston, on 16 April 1962.1 He died on 28 September 1977 at age 73 at Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa.1,2
     He was educated at Wellington College, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He was with the Colonial Adminstration of Fiji and the Western Pacific between 1930 and 1934.1 He was admitted to Gray's Inn in 1936 entitled to practise as a brrsiter.1 He fought in the Second World War, where he was mentioned in despatches.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force.1 He held the office of Senior Resident Magistrate of Northern Rhodesia in 1952.1 He held the office of Puisne Judge between 1956 and 1962.1

     Constance Loudon was born on 18 February 1897 at Olantigh, Wye, Kent, EnglandG.2 She was the daughter of James Hope Loudon and Louise Wilhelmina Fuchter.1,3 She married, firstly, Captain Sir Humphrey Clifford Lloyd, son of Colonel Wilford Neville Lloyd and Ella Margaret Purey-Cust, in 1918.1 She and Captain Sir Humphrey Clifford Lloyd were divorced.4 She married, secondly, William Evan Windham, son of Sir William Windham and Blanche Marie Titren, on 1 March 1932.1 She died on 17 July 1939 at age 42.1
     Her married name became Lloyd.2 From 1 March 1932, her married name became Windham.1

     Captain Sir Humphrey Clifford Lloyd was born on 24 April 1893 at London, England.2 He was the son of Colonel Wilford Neville Lloyd and Ella Margaret Purey-Cust.3 He married Gladys Margaret Crichton-Browne, daughter of Colonel Harrold William Alexander Francis Crichton-Browne and Josephine Margaret Verdin.2 He married Constance Loudon, daughter of James Hope Loudon and Louise Wilhelmina Fuchter, in 1918.1 He and Constance Loudon were divorced.2 He died in 1966 at Richmond upon Thames, Surrey, England.2
     He was appointed Member, Royal Victorian Order (M.V.O.)1 He gained the rank of Captain in the 60th Rifles.2 He fought in the First World War.2 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.)1 He was Chief Officer of Police, Montgomeryshire in 1939.2
