     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Westbury between 1790 and 1795.2 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Newtown, Isle of Wight in 1802.2 He was member of the Commission of Naval Inquiry between 1802 and 1805.3 He lived at Horsted Place, Uckfield, Sussex, EnglandG.4
