     Sir Richard William Boord, 3rd Bt. was born on 9 November 1907.1 He was the son of Alexander Edgar Boord and Coralie Mary Hoskier.1 He married, firstly, Yvonne Swingler Bird, daughter of Joseph Arthur Hubert Bird, on 9 March 1933.1 He and Yvonne Swingler Bird were divorced in 1944.1 He married, secondly, Ethel El Marie Moline, daughter of Hermann A. Moline, on 17 June 1944.1 He died on 12 December 1975 at age 68.1
     He was educated at Marlborough College, Marlborough, Wiltshire, EnglandG.1 He was educated at Lincoln College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG.1 He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Boord, of Wakehurst Place, co. Sussex [U.K., 1896] on 26 May 1928.1 He gained the rank of Squadron Leader in the Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve.1

     Ellinor Mary Boord was born on 23 August 1902.1 She was the daughter of Alexander Edgar Boord and Coralie Mary Hoskier.1 She married Colonel Roland St. George Tristram Harper, son of Lt.-Col. Tristram Harper, on 5 September 1931.1 She died on 10 July 1968 at age 65.1
     From 5 September 1931, her married name became Harper.1
     She had a son and two daughters.1
