     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Bland, of Kippax Park, co. York [E., 1642] on 14 November 1663.1

     Sir John Bland, 4th Bt. was born on 2 November 1663.1 He was the son of Sir Francis Bland, 2nd Bt. and Jane Lowther.1 He married Anne Moseley, daughter of Sir Edward Moseley and Jane Merial Saltonstall, on 31 March 1685 at Chorlton Chapel, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 He died on 25 October 1715 at age 51, on a journey from Bath to Yorkshire.1 He was buried on 29 October 1715 at Didsbury, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 His will (dated 24 December 1712) was proven (by probate) on 7 May 1716.1
     He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Bland, of Kippax Park, co. York [E., 1642] on 14 December 1668.1 He matriculated at University College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 14 November 1670.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Appleby in 1681.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Pontefract between 1690 and 1713.1 He held the office of Commissioner of the Revenue [Ireland] between 1704 and 1706.1

     Anne Moseley was born circa 1662.1 She was the daughter of Sir Edward Moseley and Jane Merial Saltonstall.1 She married Sir John Bland, 4th Bt., son of Sir Francis Bland, 2nd Bt. and Jane Lowther, on 31 March 1685 at Chorlton Chapel, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1 She died on 26 July 1734.1 She was buried on 3 August 1734 at Didsbury, Manchester, Lancashire, EnglandG.1
     From 31 March 1685, her married name became Bland.1 Her last will was dated 20 June 1721.1

     Sir John Bland, 6th Bt. was born circa 1722.1 He was the son of Sir John Bland, 5th Bt. and Lady Frances Finch.1 He died on 3 September 1755 at Calais, FranceG, unmarried.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 1 October 1755.1 He died intestate and his estate was administered on 12 January 1757.1
     He matriculated at St. John's College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, on 28 January 1739/40.1 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Bland, of Kippax Park, co. York [E., 1642] on 9 April 1743.1 He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Ludgershall from 1754 to 1755.1
     Cokayne quotes "by his wild dissipation and his unconquerable disposition to play, he squandered immense estates—the whole of Manchester and its environs—and left little more at his death than the family patrimony at Kippax."1
