     Grizel Warrender was the daughter of Sir John Warrender of Lochend, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Johnston.1 She married Captain Hon. Charles Napier, son of Francis Napier, 6th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Lady Henrietta Hope, on 19 December 1763.1 She died on 15 November 1774, without issue.1
     From 19 December 1763, her married name became Napier.1

Charles Napier was born on 19 November 1731.2 He was the son of Francis Napier, 6th Lord Napier of Merchistoun and Lady Henrietta Hope.2 He married, firstly, Grizel Warrender, daughter of Sir John Warrender of Lochend, 2nd Bt. and Henrietta Johnston, on 19 December 1763.2 He married, secondly, Christian Hamilton, daughter of Gabriel Hamilton and Agnes Dundas, on 2 July 1777.3 He died on 9 December 1807 at age 76.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He lived at Merchiston Hall, Stirlingshire, ScotlandG.1
