     Samantha Louise Acland was born on 14 December 1969.1 She is the daughter of John William Brian Dyke Acland and Georgina Scarborough.1 She married, firstly, Wensley Grosvenor Haydon-Baillie, son of Malcolm Anthony Haydon-Baillie and Edith Agnes Rosemary Willes, in 1994.1 She and Wensley Grosvenor Haydon-Baillie were divorced in 1998.3 She married, secondly, Stephen Newman, son of John Newman, on 1 May 2004.2
     From 1994, her married name became Haydon-Baillie.1 From 1 May 2004, her married name became Newman.2

     Malcolm Anthony Haydon-Baillie was born circa 1907.2 He was the son of Thomas Cleghorn Baillie and Lily Christine Haydon.2 He married, firstly, Edith Agnes Rosemary Willes, daughter of William Willes, in 1939.2,3 He and Edith Agnes Rosemary Willes were divorced in 1949.2,3 He married, secondly, Irene Blackwell in 1949.2 He died in March 1984.2
     He was appointed Fellow, Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.)2

     Walter John Montagu Douglas Scott, 8th Duke of Buccleuch was born on 30 December 1894.1 He was the son of John Charles Montagu Douglas Scott, 7th Duke of Buccleuch and Lady Margaret Alice Bridgeman.1 He married Vreda Esther Mary Lascelles, daughter of Major William Frank Lascelles and Lady Sybil Evelyn de Vere Beauclerk, on 21 April 1921.1 He died on 4 October 1973 at age 78.1
