Sir Charles Blois, 6th Bt. was baptised on 4 March 1766 at Yoxford, Suffolk, EnglandG.2,3 He was the son of Sir John Blois, 5th Bt. and Sarah Thornhill.2 He married Clara Price, daughter of Jocelyn Price and Frances Mary Adams, on 19 January 1789 at Drax, Yorkshire, EnglandG.2,3 He died on 20 August 1850 at age 84.2 His will was proven (by probate) in September 1850.3
He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Ouse and Derwent Volunteer Corps of Infantry.3 He succeeded as the 6th Baronet Blois, of Grundisburgh and Cockfield Hall, co. Suffolk [E., 1686] on 17 January 1810.2
