     Sir Norton Knatchbull was the son of Richard Knatchbull and Susan Green.1,2 He married, firstly, Anne Wentworth, daughter of Paul Wentworth.2 He married, secondly, Bridget Astley, daughter of John Astley, before 1625.2 He married, thirdly, Mary Aldersea, daughter of John Aldersea, after 1625.1 He died in 1636, without issue.
     He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Hythe.2 He lived at Mersham Hatch, Kent, EnglandG.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Kent circa 1608.2
