     Robert Campbell was the son of Colin Campbell, 1st of Blythswood and Janet Muir.1 He married, secondly, Catherine Napier, daughter of John Napier.1 He married, secondly, Jean Dunlop, daughter of James Dunlop, 2nd of Garnkirk and Elspeth Roberton, in 1680 at Glasgow, Lanarkshire, Scotland.1,2 He died in June 1694.2
     He had two daughters.1 He lived at Woodside, ScotlandG.1
