     Major Christopher Montagu Blackett was the son of Captain Edward Algernon Blackett and Lucia Minchin.1,2 He married Evelyn Blackett, daughter of John Charles Blackett and Emily Jane Cockcraft, on 24 February 1902.1 He died on 16 March 1940.1
     He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.)1 He gained the rank of Major in the Rifle Brigade.1
