     Caroline Eliza Woodriff was born in 1859.2 She was the daughter of Captain John Robert Woodriff and Jessie Brownsmith Bradley.1,2 She married Sir Benjamin Vincet Sellon Brodie, 3rd Bt., son of Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie, 2nd Bt. and Philothea Margaret Thompson, on 4 May 1887.1 She died on 13 January 1895.1
     From 4 May 1887, her married name became Brodie.1

     Sir Benjamin Vincet Sellon Brodie, 3rd Bt. was born on 19 June 1862.1 He was the son of Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie, 2nd Bt. and Philothea Margaret Thompson.1 He married Caroline Eliza Woodriff, daughter of Captain John Robert Woodriff and Jessie Brownsmith Bradley, on 4 May 1887.1 He died on 20 January 1938 at age 75.1
     He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Brodie, of Boxford, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1834] on 24 November 1880.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1882 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He was admitted to Lincoln's Inn entitled to practise as a Barrister.1 He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Territorial Force.1 He was appointed Fellow, Society of Antiquaries (F.S.A.)1 He held the office of Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) of Surrey.1 He held the office of Justice of the Peace (J.P.) for Surrey.1 He held the office of County Alderman for Surrey.1 He held the office of High Sheriff of Surrey in 1912.1

     Sir Benjamin Collins Brodie, 4th Bt. was born on 6 March 1888.1 He was the son of Sir Benjamin Vincet Sellon Brodie, 3rd Bt. and Caroline Eliza Woodriff.1 He married Mary Palmer, daughter of Ross Palmer, on 9 January 1924. He died on 2 August 1971 at age 83.1
     He was educated at Eton College, Windsor, Berkshire, EnglandG.1 He graduated from Magdalen College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, EnglandG, in 1911 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)1 He fought in the First World War between 1914 and 1919, with the Surrey Yeomanry and Gordon Highalnders, and was mentioned in despatches twice.1 He was awarded the Military Cross (M.C.) and bar.1 He succeeded as the 4th Baronet Brodie, of Boxford, co. Suffolk [U.K., 1834] on 20 January 1938.1 He was assistant commandant, Cardiganshire Special Constabulary between 1940 and 1945.1 He became a Master in 1944, Skinner's Company.1 He was Governor at Tonbridge School, Tonbridge, Kent, EnglandG.1
