     Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Bt. was born on 20 June 1680.¹ He was the son of Sir John Aubrey, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Lowther.¹ He married, firstly, Mary Stealy on 20 June 1701 at St. James's, Westminster, London, England^G.¹ He married, secondly, Frances Jephson, daughter of William Jephson and Mary Lewis, after 1708.¹ He married, thirdly, Jane Thomas on 1 February 1724/25 at St. Benet's, Paul's Wharf, London, England^G.¹ He died on 16 April 1743 at age 62.¹ He was buried on 23 April 1743 at Boarstall, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹
     He matriculated at Jesus College, Oxford University, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England^G, on 7 April 1698.¹ He succeeded as the 3rd Baronet Aubrey, of Llantrithyd, co.      She was a writing-maid, to Mary, Lady Aubrey.¹ From 20 June 1701, her married name became Aubrey.¹

     Frances Jephson was the daughter of William Jephson and Mary Lewis.¹ She married Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Aubrey, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Lowther, after 1708.¹ She died, without male issue.¹
     From after 1708, her married name became Aubrey.¹

     Jane Thomas married Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Bt., son of Sir John Aubrey, 2nd Bt. and Margaret Lowther, on 1 February 1724/25 at St. Benet's, Paul's Wharf, London, England^G.¹ She died before 1741.¹
     She lived at Boarstall, Buckinghamshire, England^G.¹ From 1 February 1724/25, her married name became Aubrey.¹

     Sir John Aubrey, 4th Bt. was born circa 1707.¹ He was the son of Sir John Aubrey, 3rd Bt. and Mary Stealy.¹ He died on 14 October 1767, unmarried.¹
