     Elfrida Kirkley was the daughter of James Kirkley.1 She married Sir Fleetwood Ashburnham, 11th Bt., son of Sir Anchitel Ashburnham, 8th Bt. and Isabella Martin, on 30 July 1908.1 She died on 19 October 1953.1
     From 30 July 1908, her married name became Ashburnham.1

     Anchitel Fleetwood Ashburnham was born on 26 May 1911.1 He was the son of Sir Fleetwood Ashburnham, 11th Bt. and Elfrida Kirkley.1 He married Kathleen Marjory Willett, daughter of Lt.-Col. Frederic Wilfred Bagnall Willett, on 28 December 1938.1 He died on 20 December 1940 at age 29 at PalestineG, while on active service.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Royal Sussex Regiment.1 He fought in the Second World War between 1939 and 1940.1 He gained the rank of Temporary Major in the Royal Army Service Corps.1
