     He gained the rank of Captain in the 17th/21st Lancers.1

     Captain Alexander Henry Maxwell-Hyslop was born in 1895.2 He was the son of Colonel Robert Hyslop. He married Cecilia Joan Bayly.2 He died in 1978.2
     He gained the rank of Captain in the Royal Navy.1 He was awarded the Albert Medal (A.M.)1 He lived at Cornwall, EnglandG.1 He was given the name of Alexander Henry Hyslop at birth.3 On 11 July 1925 his name was legally changed to Alexander Henry Maxwell-Hyslop by Deed Poll.3
