Macredy, on 10 December 1885.1 He married Lillian Walters Davies, daughter of Rochfort Davies, in 1893.1 He died on 6 December 1897 at age 45.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the Royal Artillery.1

     Bessie Macredy was the daughter of Reverend J. Macredy.1 She married, firstly, Major J. L. Bell before 1885.1 She married, secondly, Lt.-Col. Robert Ambrose Cecil King, son of Colonel Edward Richard King and Mary Thorn, on 10 December 1885.1 She died in 1892, without issue.1
     From before 1885, her married name became Bell.1 From 10 December 1885, her married name became King.1
