Dudley Lance Guy Carleton-Smith and Barbara Letitia Camilla Popham, on 10 December 1968.1 She married, secondly, Ian V. Fletcher in 1990.1
     From 10 December 1968, her married name became Carleton-Smith.1 From 1990, her married name became Fletcher.1

     Major Martin Vyvyan Carleton-Smith is the son of Lt.-Col. Dudley Lance Guy Carleton-Smith and Barbara Letitia Camilla Popham.1,2 He married Elinor Ivy Seely, daughter of S/Ldr. Nigel Richard William Seely and Isabella Elinor Margarete von Rieben, on 10 December 1968.1
     He gained the rank of Major in the Irish Guards.1

     Lt.-Col. Dudley Lance Guy Carleton-Smith was born on 8 September 1892.2 He was the son of Major Charles Dudley Carleton-Smith and Henrietta Dowson.2 He married, firstly, Barbara Letitia Camilla Popham, daughter of Alexander Popham, in December 1928 at St. Martin's-in-the-Fields, London, England.2 He married, secondly, Caroline Ann d'Anyers Willis, daughter of Charles Rodolph d'Anyers Willis and Ursula Kearsley, in 1960.3 He and Caroline Ann d'Anyers Willis were divorced in 1967.3 He died on 26 November 1984 at age 92 at Corby, Northamptonshire, England.3,2
     He was educated at Radley College, Abingdon, Oxfordshire, England.2 He was educated at Royal Military College, Sandhurst, Berkshire, England.2 He gained the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel in the King's Dragoon Guards.1
