     Eugene de Ligne, 11th Prince de Ligne was born on 10 August 1893.3 He was the son of Ernest Henri Louis Lamoral de Ligne, 10th Prince de Ligne and Marguerite Constance Marie Diane de Cossé Brissac.2 He married Philippine de Noailles, daughter of François Joseph Napoleón de Noailles and Madeleine Dubois de Courval, on 28 February 1917.1,3 He died on 26 June 1960 at age 66.3
