     She gained the title of Princess Cäcilie of Sweden.3

     Paul Friedrich August von Holstein-Gottorp, Grand Duke of Oldenburg was born on 13 July 1783 at Rastede, Niedersachsen, GermanyG.1 He was the son of Peter I Friedrich Ludwig von Holstein-Gottorp, Grand Duke of Oldenburg and Friederike Herzogin von Württemberg.1 He married, firstly, Adelheid Prinzessin von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym, daughter of Viktor II Prinz von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym and Amelie Prinzessin von Nassau-Weilburg, on 24 July 1817.1 He married, secondly, Ida Prinzessin von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym, daughter of Viktor II Prinz von Anhalt-Bernburg-Schaumburg-Hoym and Amelie Prinzessin von Nassau-Weilburg, on 24 June 1823 at Oldenburg, Niedersachsen, GermanyG.2 He married, thirdly, Cäcilie von Holstein-Gottorp, Princess of Sweden, daughter of Gustaf IV Adolf von Holstein-Gottorp, King of Sweden and Friederike Dorothea Wilhelmine Prinzessin von Baden, on 5 May 1831 at Vienna, AustriaG.2 He was also reported to have been married on 24 June 1824 at Oldenburg, GermanyG.
