     Catherine Hamilton was born between 1692 and 1701.1 She was the daughter of Hon. Basil Hamilton and Mary Dunbar of Baldoon.1 She married Thomas Cochrane, 6th Earl of Dundonald, son of William Cochrane and Lady Grizel Graham, in October 1727.1 She died on 13 April 1779.1
     From October 1727, her married name became Cochrane.

     Thomas Cochrane, 6th Earl of Dundonald was born in 1702.1 He was the son of William Cochrane and Lady Grizel Graham.2 He married Catherine Hamilton, daughter of Hon. Basil Hamilton and Mary Dunbar of Baldoon, in October 1727.1 He died on 29 May 1737.1
     He succeeded as the 6th Lord Cochrane of Dundonald [S., 1647] on 27 January 1724/25.2 He succeeded as the 6th Earl of Dundonald [S., 1669] on 27 January 1724/25.1 He succeeded as the 6th Lord Cochrane of Paseley and Ochiltrie [S., 1669] on 27 January 1724/25.2

     Lady Jane Hamilton was the daughter of James Hamilton, 6th Earl of Abercorn and Hon. Elizabeth Reading.1 She and Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton obtained a marriage license on 29 September 1719.1 She died on 6 December 1753 at Paris, FranceG.1,2 She was buried at Montmartre, Paris, FranceG.2
     She was first Lady of the Bedchamber, Mistress of the Robes and Privy Purse to Augusta, Princess of Wales.2

Patrick Cary and Susan Uvedale.1 She married, secondly, Captain Hon. Archibald Hamilton, son of William Douglas-Hamilton, 1st Earl of Selkirk and Anne Hamilton, 3rd Duchess of Hamilton, before 1709.1 She died in 1709.1
     Her married name became Cary.1 From before 1709, her married name became Hamilton.1

     Charles Lucas, 2nd Baron Lucas of Shenfield was the son of Sir Thomas Lucas.2 He married Lady Penelope Leke, daughter of Francis Leke, 1st Earl of Scarsdale and Anne Cary.3 He died in 1688.2
     He succeeded as the 2nd Baron Lucas of Shenfield, co. Essex [E., 1645] on 2 July 1671.1
