     Maximilian Friedrich Ernst Prinz zu Salm-Salm was born on 28 November 1732 at Anhalt^G. He was the son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm. He married Marie Luise Eleonore Landgräfin von Hessen-Rheinfels-Rottenburg on 16 March 1756. He died on 14 September 1773 at age 40.
     He gained the title of Duke of Hoogstraeton. He gained the title of Prinz zu Salm-Salm.

     Marie Luise Eleonore Landgräfin von Hessen-Rheinfels-Rottenburg was born on 18 April 1729. She married Maximilian Friedrich Ernst Prinz zu Salm-Salm, son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm, on 16 March 1756. She died on 6 January 1800 at age 70 at Anhalt^G.

     Marie Anne Henriette Prinzessin zu Salm-Salm was born on 28 October 1773. She was the daughter of Maximilian Friedrich Ernst Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Marie Luise Eleonore Landgräfin von Hessen-Rheinfels-Rottenburg. She died on 18 January 1776 at age 2.
     She gained the title of Prinzessin zu Salm-Salm.

     Marie Anne Felicitie de Horion, Comtesse de Horion was born on 12 May 1743. She married Ludwig Karl Otto Prinz zu Salm-Salm, son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm, on 30 May 1775. She died on 9 May 1800 at age 56 at Senones^G.
     She gained the title of Comtesse de Horion.

     Ludwig Karl Otto Prinz zu Salm-Salm was born on 22 August 1721. He was the son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm. He married Marie Anne Felicitie de Horion, Comtesse de Horion on 30 May 1775. He died on 29 July 1778 at age 56 at Senones^G.
     He gained the title of Prinz zu Salm-Salm.

     Franz Georg Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm was born in 1730. He was the son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm. He died in 1731.
     He gained the title of Prinz zu Salm-Salm.

     Wilhelm Florentin Claudius Lamoral Prinz zu Salm-Salm was born on 2 March 1723. He was the son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm. He died on 4 January 1744 at age 20, killed in action.
     He gained the title of Prinz zu Salm-Salm.

     Karl Alexander Ernst Prinz zu Salm-Salm was born on 15 October 1735. He was the son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm. He married Marie Katharina von Leers on 14 May 1766. He died on 1 February 1796 at age 60.
     He gained the title of Prinz zu Salm-Salm.

     Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm was born in 1701.¹ He married Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm, daughter of Ludwig Otto Prinz zu Salm and Albertine Johannette Prinzessin von Nassau-Hadamar, on 25 March 1719. He died in 1770.
     He gained the title of Prinz zu Salm-Salm.

     Marie Katharina von Leers was born on 10 April 1753. She married Karl Alexander Ernst Prinz zu Salm-Salm, son of Nikolaus Leopold Prinz zu Salm-Salm and Dorothea Franziska Agnes Prinzessin zu Salm, on 14 May 1766.
