     Catherine Courtenay was born on 7 January 1781.1 She was the daughter of Rt. Rev. Henry Reginald Courtenay and Lady Elizabeth Howard.1 She married Venerable Edward Berens on 30 December 1805.1 She died on 21 November 1865 at age 84.1
     Her married name became Berens.

     Colonel Eugene St. John Birnie was invested as a Officer, Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.).1 He gained the rank of Colonel in the service of the Indian Army.1
