     Alexander Ferdinand Prinz von Thurn und Taxis was born on 31 August 1906 at Schloss Mzell. He is the son of Erich Prinz von Thurn und Taxis and Gabriele Gräfin Kinsky von Wchinitz und Tettau. He married Valerie Gräfin von Mazzuchelli on 26 March 1935 at Prague, Czech Republic.
     Alexander Ferdinand Prinz von Thurn und Taxis was baptised with the name of Alexander Ferdinand Hans Hugo Karl Ego Rudolf Lamoral Erich.
