     Maria Teresa de Silva y Alvarez de Toledo was born on 6 January 1716.1 She was the daughter of Manuel Maria de Silva, 9th Conde de Galve and Maria Teresa Alvarez de Toledo, 11th Duquesa de Alba.1 She married Jacopo Francisco Eduardo FitzJames-Stuart y Colón de Portugal, 3rd Duque de Liria y Xerica, son of James Francis FitzJames-Stuart, 2nd Duque de Liria y Xerica and Catalina Ventura de Portugal-Columbus, 9th Duquesa de Veragua y de La Vega, on 26 July 1738 at Alba de Tormes, SpainG.1 She died on 5 May 1790 at age 74.1
     She held the office of Lady of Honour, to the Princess of the Asturias.1
