Margaret Lane Fox, daughter of George Richard Lane-Fox, 1st and last Baron Bingley and Hon. Mary Agnes Emily Wood, on 3 September 1939.1 He died on 1 June 1944 at Normandy, France, killed in action.1
     Major Charles William Christopher Packe gained the rank of Major in the service of the Royal Fusiliers.1 He fought in the Second World War.
