     He gained the rank of Vice-Admiral in the Royal Navy.¹ He was appointed Commander, Order of the British Empire (C.B.E.)¹ He lived at Lamberhurst, Kent, England^G. He lived in 1952 at Forest Lodge, Bell's Yew Green, Tunbridge Wells, Kent, England^G.¹ He had another son and two other daughters.¹

     Derek Rupert Spicer Legge was born on 22 March 1949.¹ He was the son of John Michael Derek Legge and Esmé Edith Cameron.¹ He married Jacqueline Ann Hollaway in 1990.¹ He died on 5 February 1996 at age 46.¹
