Alexander Haldane Farquharson was born on 12 March 1867.1 He was the son of James Ross Farquharson and Elizabeth Louisa Oswald.2 He married Zoë Caroline Musgrave, daughter of Sir Richard Courtenay Musgrave, 11th Bt., on 16 January 1893.1 He died on 17 March 1936 at age 69.1
Alexander Haldane Farquharson was Lieutenant 10th –92, Major 10th (serv) Battalion Gordon Hldrs, Lieutenant-Colonel cmdg 7th Battalion Gordon Hldrs 1905–10, WW I France 1915 and 1917–18 Hus 1889.1 He was Justice of the Peace (J.P.).1 And of Braemar Castle.1 He graduated from Eton and Ch Ch Oxford Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) ) in 1888.1 In 1897 CC Aberdeenshire.1 He was Deputy Lieutenant (D.L.) in 1921.1 He lived at Invercauld, Scotland.

Zoë Caroline Musgrave was born on 12 October 1871. She was the daughter of Sir Richard Courtenay Musgrave, 11th Bt.2 She married Alexander Haldane Farquharson, son of James Ross Farquharson and Elizabeth Louisa Oswald, on 16 January 1893.1 She died on 23 December 1929 at age 58.1
