     Jasper Brodie Croft was born on 27 April 1884.1 He was the son of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh.1 He married Catherine Harriett Taylor, daughter of Frederick G. Taylor, on 7 August 1907.1 He died on 11 October 1950 at age 66.1
     He gained the rank of Lieutenant in the service of the Royal Field Artillery, Australian Imperial Forces.1

     Sir John Rumney Nicholson was born in 1866 at Langwathby, Cumberland, England.3,2 He was the son of Isaac Nicholson and Alice Dodd.1,2 He married Sybil Helen Croft, daughter of Sir Herbert George Denman Croft, 9th Bt. and Georgiana Eliza Lucy Marsh, on 24 September 1902.1 He died in November 1939.3
     He was invested as a Companion, Order of St. Michael and St. George (C.M.G.).1
