     Captain Hon. Algernon Henry Champagne Capell was born on 23 October 1807.2 He was the son of Hon. John Thomas Capel and Lady Caroline Paget.1 He married Caroline Paget, daughter of Vice-Admiral Hon. Sir Charles Paget and Elizabeth Araminta Monck, on 10 December 1832.1 He died on 21 November 1886 at age 79.2
      In May 1839 he was granted the rank of an earl's younger son.2 He gained the rank of Captain in the service of the Royal Navy.2
