Munroe and Nancy Anderson, on 29 March 1945. He married, secondly, Agnes Nydia Brailey, daughter of A. R. Brailey, on 7 August 1947. He married, thirdly, Olivia Joan Wedderburn in 1985.

     Rosemary June Munroe was the daughter of J. W. Munroe and Nancy Anderson. She married Major Rodney Archibald Douglas-Pennant, son of Archibald Douglas-Pennant and Gwendoline Fraser, on 29 March 1945. She died on 13 June 1946.
     Her married name became Douglas-Pennant.
