Gladys Flora Mostyn.1 She married, firstly, P/O Ian Alexander Bruce Johnstone, son of Alexander Johnstone, on 4 October 1941.1 She married, secondly, F/O Harry James Hubert Ripper, son of Harry Joseph Edward Ripper, on 27 November 1945.1
     From 4 October 1941, her married name became Johnstone. From 27 November 1945, her married name became Ripper. She lived in 2003 at 1A Recreation Ground, Sible Hedingham, Essex, England.1

     P/O Ian Alexander Bruce Johnstone was born on 18 June 1915 at Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1 He was the son of Alexander Johnstone.2 He married Joan Mary Winefride Charlton, daughter of George Victor Bellasis Charlton and Hon. Gladys Flora Mostyn, on 4 October 1941.2 He died on 12 March 1942 at age 26, killed in action.2
     He was educated at Aberdeen Grammar School, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, ScotlandG.1 He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, in 1936 with a Master of Arts (M.A.)1 He graduated from Aberdeen University, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Scotland, with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.)1 He fought in the Second World War. He gained the rank of Pilot Officer in the Royal Air Force.2

     He gained the rank of Flying Officer in the Royal Air Force.1
